I absolutely love this blender! Best quality blender I've ever had the pleasure of owning and using. Only to drawbacks, and they're quite minor compared to how well this product is made and how well it works in every other regard.… The sucker is loud and I'm not kidding! The only problem and it's really just a minor annoyance, is that the blades do seem to get stopped with frozen pieces like cherries, frozen strawberries, and other little frozen bits more than I would expect it to. I am loading the pitcher correctly, so I know this is not happening because of misuse. If this blender ever wears out, despite what I have mentioned, it's such a great machine that I would buy the exact same one again. I use this once, sometimes twice a day. I've had this blender for a couple of months now and it's just fantastic.

I had a Krups for 21 years and liked all the features of the Krups (easy to clean, light weight) but it finally gave out. I decided to go with the Cuisinart 5.5 quart mixer and have not been disappointed. It is on the heavier side not as heavy as the KitchenAid and it doesn't come apart to clean like the Krups, but I believe it will stand up to my baking abuse.

I bought this mostly to knead bread. It does jump around a little, the top bounces which I do not like but overall I am very pleased with it. I do not use the splash guard which would help with the next issue I have as you do not have room to add or scrape the bowl while it is running. You have to turn it off and lift the beaters.

I purchased the Cuisinart stand mixer to replace a different brand stand mixer that was over 25 years old. I LOVE the feature that locks the head in both the up & down positions. It has enough power to knead my bread dough and is built just a little narrower than my previous mixer, giving me a bit more room on the counter. And the color is lovely.

Although this isn't the larger Cuisinart Artisan that I really, really want (and am saving to buy on my birthday), I love it. It was an emergency, home-use purchase when old one died in midst of a large cookie order. Easy to operate and switch/remove included attachments, which were able to handle all batter consistencies. Quality product as expected.

I totally love my Cuisanart Stand Mixer 5.5 Quart! I have made homemade cookies in it. And I will be making homemade frosting in it for my birthday tomorrow! And many more wonderful things to come! I love it and I would recommend this item 100% to anyone who loves to cook! Best mixer I've ever had to.

I compared Cuisanart with other named brand stand mixers. Cuisanart provided to out shine them all on quality, price and performance! Tested it by making 20 dozen cookies for Christmas gifts. I have absolutely enjoyed adding this to my family of Cuisanart appliances!

I make all my own bread and, while my old West Bend stand mixer had been very reliable, it just couldn't handle heavy bread dough. This mixer has all the bells and whistles of the more expensive one plus a stronger motor and 2 extra speeds. It was a no brainer and my bread is better than ever!

I am happy with my new mixer. The whisk attachment works beautifully. The standard mixing paddle doesn't touch the bowl as well as it should though to mix all the ingredients. I haven't tried the dough hook yet but I'm excited about making bread finally.

My wife uses the wire whisk in making “divinity candy” Syrup is an ingredient. The whisks does not scrap the insides of the bowl leaving a 1/16 inch of syrup that needs to combine with the other ingredients. Other than that problem, it is a perfect mixer!!!
