Bad battery, bad bluetooth

This is a replacement for a Sonicare brush that I had for about 5 years. This new brush has left me dissapointed, the Battery lasted a week on one full charge. Bluetooth would not connect after charging, information in the app is of no benefit and I think just drains the battery from the brush. Overall not impressed at all, feels like a badly thought out gadget which I would like to disable the bluetooth on and get some battery life back

Could you try the following tips to see if this helps with issues you're having with the app? https://www.philips.co.uk/c-f/XC000006604/how-to-connect-my-philips-sonicare-toothbrush-with-the-sonicare-app. As for the battery life, based on two, two-minute periods of brushing per day it should last about 14 days, so I would advise putting the device on the charger for 24 hours to see if that improves the battery life. Flawed technology

Started off well, with a very clean feeling teeth. Battery life was very good. However, after the second or third charge it has started to malfunction. Toothbrush head pauses during brushing, lights flash when not being used for a long time, for no reason, buttons have to be pressed multiple times to get them to work and battery needs to be charged much sooner. Nice idea, but full of faults. I'll have to look into returning it, having had it for less than 2 months. Will try for a different model or a refund.
