Excellent quality, sturdy, quiet, efficient and good looking! If it was only a man! This is the stand mixer I have been waiting for. Its absolutely perfect. Extremely impressed with the quality; everyone else is delighted with the baking gifts rgey are receiving.

I purchased this when my old Breville died and didn't want to spend a ton on a new mixer. Yes, it works but the regular mixing paddle does not do a good job ( the sugar in the bottom of the bowl never gets mixed up) and so I end up using the whipping paddle all the time. The front name plate on the mixer falls off all the time as well. Does it mix? Yes. Do I wish I'd opted for the more expensive mixer, yes.

The mixer works o.k. You will need to scrap the biwl down often as attachments do not reach the sides. You may have to adjust the head down as the attachments did not reach deep enough into the bottom of bowl. We adjusted the screw all the way and the head is still a little short for the shorter attachments to reach the ingredients in the bowl thus having to use a spaula to lift and mix the remaining ingredients from bottom of bowl

It has a powerful Cuisinart motor, as expected. Sturdy and quite heavy, so you need to keep in on the countertop. Easy to use and nice design. That said, my old GE stand mixer from 1975 that finally died, had two features that I wish this one had: 1) it came with two bowl sizes, a large bowl and a smaller medium sized bowl. That was great! There appears to be only one bowl size with this Cuisinart stand mixer; and 2) you have to stop the motor to scrape down the sides of the bowl. My GE old stand mixer was easy to scrape down while running because the base where the bowl sat spun (in addition to the beaters). If I can find another stand mixer with that feature, I will buy it and sell this one. I suspect that this Cuisinart will last a life time!

I've used this mixer to mix cake batter and to whip heavy whipping cream. It did a great job with both, especially the heavy cream. I did so and scrape down the bowl once with the cake batter, but I had to do that with my KitchenAid mixer. I sold that mixer after owning it many many years because it weighed 24 pounds and I'm now in my 70's. So far I am very happy with my Cuisinart.

I haven't had the opportunity to use my new Cuisinart mixer much yet, but love it so far. It's attractive -- enough to display prominently on my countertop -- very heavy duty, easy to use and clean, and mixes well. I'm looking forward to years of use!

I received the 5.5 qt stand mixer for Christmas and really love it. This replaced my 3.5 qt Cuisinart stand mixer and I wanted it because of the great work my 3.5qt did for me. Since receiving it at Christmas the mixer has made pasta ( 2 times) from mixing the pasta dough to using the rollers and extruder that I purchased separately in no time flat. I have made several loaves of bread with it, some tough rustic bread, kneaded the dough with no problems. I wanted the Cuisinart because I have other Cuisinart products in my kitchen and love them. The warranty is also longer on it that other well known brands, which made me feel more confident. Highly reccomend this mixer from Cuisinart.

This is my first stand mixer and man, I wish I would have bought it years ago! It handles triple what my hand mixer did! Love the large size of the stainless steel bowl. I got the ice cream attachment and it also works great and makes delish desserts in about 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

I use my mixer to make all types of things. I am grateful for the various attachments because I am now making my own bread! Using as few ingredients as possible, keeping it healthy. I love it. I also use my mixer for making my skincare products! I love the depth of the mixing bowl, the splash proof lid. Just great.

It's the first stand mixer I've ever owned and it works great. I didn't give it 5 stars because there just isn't much room too add ingredients. The bowl is too high. Plus I would like to use a smaller bowl for smaller recipes. I love the beater blade. So much easier to use and clean than the old standard beaters. It's a workhorse, but a little awkward to use. I think it's just a learning curve.
