Cleaning has finally become so easy I finally want to do it as often as the situation requires! The vacuum is great, came with useful attachments, converts from long to short in no time, and the attachments are interchangeable with my other ball Dyson. The be wall mount could use improvement.

Getting on a bit now so I purchased this for downstairs, it well and truly does the job required to do. Much easier to maintain the cleanliness of the downstairs area now. Less than 5 minutes each day keeps the area clean. Easy to use with my aging arms and would highly recommend this vac for any age.

I love this machine! Lightweight, maneuverable, battery charges quickly, and it sucks - by that I mean its performance as a vacuum is outstanding! Also easy to empty and its filtration is great! The attachments are also easy to use and switch out. I’ve owned other name brand stick vacs but none compare to my Dyson. I love it so much that I’ve named it Sonny (using the last part of Dyson name).

This is our 4th Dyson V8 which replaces our very first V8. The first one finally gave up after many years of abuse – it lasted much longer than I thought it would. Says a lot about Dyson’s durability. We keep one upstairs, one downstairs, and one in the garage. Rarely do we use the corded vacuums any more as the Dysons are quick and easy – no plugging in and untangling cords. We found Dysons also do a better job cleaning, especially pet hair. Additionally, we take one camping with us. They do a great job keeping dust, dirt, and sand out of the camper. The battery easily lasts 3-4 days. We also use it for the boat; it works great for the little storage places and gets into tight places like the ski locker. Sand does not seem to hurt them. We are very satisfied with the V8. If I had one change to make it would be to have changeable batteries.

I don't know what took me so long to buy this. Excellent buy.. Love that it is cordless and so easy. Love all the attachments; It has good suction even on hardwood floors. I do wish the battery last a LITTLE longer but you can watch the lights and see when it is on one bar. I have another Dyson handheld which also works with these attachments I do not hang this on the wall so It is not constantly charging which would help with the battery. I would recommend this to everyone

Well let me just say I currently have a stick vac V10. Compared to that the V8 comes up very want. It’s fine for a quick vacuum if the floor is hardly dirty. But it doesn’t pick up much at all. I returned it and got the V11 and now this one I am over the moon about. Picks up dust, dirt, kibble Cheerios, you name it, it tackles it perfectly.

Great. Allows me to maintain a clean and tidy house day to day. Would love an intermediate power setting Plenty of flexibility to get into tricky nooks and crannies Early days, so far so very good with battery Not enough help about how to use all of the attachments.

Attachments are easy remove and attach; Battery life could be longer- it's showing 20 mins/max use and 40 mins/ normal use ; Easy to manoeuvre around furniture; The special small head is quite efficient in filtering the dust from my mattress . Because of the very effective vacuum cleaner I find a thorough once over is enough, thus keeping the place cleaner, and less wear and tear on the vacuum cleaner due to less frequent use.

Good vacuum for the price I got it at. Sounds different to previous versions. Pretty disappointed accessories didn’t come with it (other than one) and previous ones are not interchangeable either. I did ask Dyson if accessories were meant to be included, but each chat session kept getting closed for some reason, so I gave up!

When my DC59 had its day after eleven years of good service, I chose Dyson V8 as a replacement. It's an up-dated version of my previous model. This one is much quieter and the emptying of dust /hairs is more effective. Nearly all the attachments are the same, except there is no small eight inch wide floor-sweeper, which is useful for the stairs. Hopefully I can get another eleven years use out of it.
