[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this styler. I have always gravitated towards strong hold products but this was recommended to me when I completed the curl quiz. It does leave my hair moisturised. Also when I need a refresh, I spray my hair with water using the Curlsmith spray bottle. A quick scrunch and my curls bounce back again. It leaves your hair with a very soft cast initially, so if you're not a fan of the crunch, this is for you.

After I wash and condition I use Hold Me Softly as a styler. I use a light amount and then finish with the Curl Defining Styling Souffle. It seems to help my hold so I can use a minimum amount of the Souffle. I sometimes have a hard time scrunching out the crunch so this routine works well for me.

I am not young or trendy, and have suffered with frizzy hair all my life, been to salons that do a good job with my hair but when it comes to products l think they £ signs start popping up, my frizzy problem is forgotten, a young student talked me through some products that would be good for my hair and curls mither was mentioned, so l order some, and bingo l have the best hair l have ever had in my life, wish you did something to give me back my youth too lol xx

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product, I have fine curly hair and normally a lot of curly hair products weigh my hair down and make it look oily but this product gave my curls shine without weighing them down. I also like that there isn't much crunch because i can put it in my hair before going out and i won't have to scrunch out my hair in public. It also smells amazing which you don't always find with curly hair products.

It does have a very slight hold, but I love that it doesn't leave my hair feeling like it has alot of product in it. I love the smell of this product as well. I will definitely buy this one again.

It keeps my curls full, yet soft, and they hold their shape well, even after sleep. I use in conjunction with the Curl Defining Souflee, applying the balm throughout my hair, and the souflee mostly on the ends as it really “defines” my curls (I am a little conservative with the souflee as it can give that crunchy cast, which I do like on occasion). I go to a curly hair salon in NYC for over 20 years and used their products faithfully. I'm proud to tell them I'm using Curlsmith and what it's done for my curls. Thanks Curlsmith!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time purchasing this product. It has a soft hold but it is not the right styling product for me. I should order the one with oil in the title. When I order again I will give this product line one more try. I will be waiting for the 50 percent off sale because of the price.

Had to try different line of styler from CS because this line (and this product) smells horrible. Way too strong. Instant migraine. I know I am sensitive to smells, but I also know, I am not the only one. I really wish companies would keep scent allergies in mind and tone down their scents. I like the Scalp Recipe line of CS products.

It works fine for my hair but since my hair is very dry and damaged i don't see much improvements with this product alone to style my Hair how i would want it to look. It curls my hair nicely but since i have very dry patches of hair this product alone does not help with that. May work for healthy hair that doesn't need to repaired.
