I love Burt's Bees products! From lip balm to skin care to face products, I have never been disappointed by Burt's Bees until I tried Goodness Glows foundation. Maybe it's too moisturizing for my skin but usually I can wear pretty much anything. The liquid doesn't seem like a bad texture until you start applying it to your skin. It has this strange smell, then it applies very unevenly. It's almost too sticky in places and streaky. The color isn't bad and it seems to be pretty long wearing but I'm going to throw this bottle away and try something else. Will you guys make a loose powder foundation?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always looking for a good liquid foundation, and I think my search is over! This Goodness Glows Liquid Makeup from Burt's Bees is the bees knees! I have a fair/neutral tone skin that is acne prone/combination. I use this liquid makeup on clean skin that has been lightly moisturized. I don't even need a full pump of product to cover my entire face and neck. I pump the foundation on the back of my hand and then use my finger to dot the makeup onto my face. I blend everything in with a damp makeup blending sponge and the finish is absolutely flawless! Unlike most other liquid foundations I have tried, this foundation does not crease in my fine lines or under my eyes. I also did not have any issues covering my breakouts without them looking cakey. It is so light that my skin feels like I'm wearing nothing at all, yet it still offers more than a medium coverage level. I will recommend using only powder products on top of it, though. When I tried putting cream blush on top, it made the liquid foundation break up. Other than that, I have not had a single complaint! After wearing this makeup for a week... my skin is SO SOFT. Any I have not had any breakouts this week, which is unheard of because I actually have pretty awful skin. Could this makeup be improving my complexion? It sure feels like it! I am attaching a photo of my final look wearing the Goodness Glows. You can barely see the acne scars on my forehead and I am only wearing 1 layer of the foundation. Thumbs up!  

If your skin is not oily, try this for product satisfaction!! I pat my face all over with fingertips and a few drops of water, then mix in a thin layer of moisturizer with it to smooth everywhere, then add this foundation over that. As long as my skin is well hydrated underneath and this base is diluted a bit by it, it works well for me. I am over 50 and like a fresh translucent and light makeup so maybe right out of the bottle this product just isn't the right one for me, as it is rather thick, but I've been very happy with it nonetheless. my teen daughter uses “as-is”.

I have pretty light skin, but the ivory/buff tones in other brands have been too pale. Surprisingly, the "Natural Beige" is perfect for hiding redness & evening out skin color. This has been my favorite foundation so far. Good coverage and not too heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light coverage foundation, blends very easily. I got the shade Almond Beige, which has a slight pink undertone. Big fan of the pump, and how sleek it looks. Packaging gets an A+. Only thing is they don't have much shades, but then again, it is new. Besides that, GREAT foundation!!

I LOVE this foundation! I have extremely sensitive skin, so I always struggle finding a foundation that will not react with my skin after everyday use. Also, I know there have been mixed reviews on the smell but I really like it! I think it smells citrusy and it wakes me up in the morning when I apply it.

I have always loved Burts Bees products and was stoked when all the makeup came out. I planned to switch my entire routine to all BB's products. I started with lipstick that I love and then bought the burts box to get a feel for all the makeup except the foundation. After loving all that I decided to purchase foundation. I purchased the liquid and the BB cream AND the mattifying powder. No matter what combination I use it makes my face look both cakey AND oily. Around my nose and chin will look super dried out and flaky while my forehead and cheeks are oily looking and it comes off very easily. I can't figure out how to make any of it look proper! By the end of my day my face looks super oily and splotchy and uncovered. I am so sad! I would love to use entirely burts products! They've got great ingredients and quality! Sadly I feel as if I've wasted a good chunk of money on the foundation though. It also makes me appear very pale. I am usually one of the lightest colors available but there's something about these tones that makes me look sickly pale.

I'm trying to switch my skincare and makeup to Burt's Bees and so far, I'm satisfied. It's not perfect, but I do like it. I'm a cool skin tone, with lots of red in my face that I look to cover. It doesn't have the coverage that's advertised, but I actually like that. It lets enough of my natural red to show through that it looks like a natural blush- much more flattering than tomato face. I have Ivory, and I worry it's a little light (which is hard to do since I'm so pale) but I've had friends tell me it's a good color. I also am not a fan of how dewy it looks on my skin, but I think that's supposed to be a good thing, according to the make-up bloggers? Highlight is pretty in these days. Personally, I think it just looks greasy, but it gets covered with the powder foundation. It doesn't seem to settle into my pores, which is a mixed basket. On one hand, my acne-prone skin doesn't break out since it's not clogging my pores. It doesn't look too cake-y on my skin as long as I beat my face well. However, my face gets oily under the foundation (which I always expect anyway) and when I go to blot my face, it seems to come off on the napkin or blot paper, since it's just sitting on the top of my skin. I would like it to sink a little more into my skin, but overall it's not big deal. It still looks good. Some people complain it looks cake-y up close, but it looks lovely when you're a normal distance from my face. It's easy to apply. It's not too thick and not too watery, and doesn't sink into my sponge when I apply it. I feel like I'm getting all the product I pump out onto my sponge. I can usually cover my face well with a pump and a half, which I like as well. I'm not using a ton of product. I am worried about how much product will be left in the bottle that I won't be able to get to when I near the end, but I'm not at that point yet. It does smell unpleasant, but it disappears as soon it's spread on your face. I guess that's just the price you pay for all-natural products. I wish it was a little less expensive as well, but again I guess that's what you get for natural products, and I'm guessing this foundation will last a lot longer than my others that were at similar price points.

Ok so I bought the shade that Burt's bees shade finder matched me with natural beige and it was too dark but I loved the foundation stayed on all day new finish not too dewy . So I went out bought a too light shade ivory now I mix them to get prefect shade ! So now I have prefect foundation! So please Burt's Bees don't stop making this foundation!! I have always use Burt's bees lip products but I am new to the foundation. And I love it.Thanks Burt's bees.

I got a sample in my Allure magazine and I tried it today. I'm in love!! I bought it online immediately and I never do that. The color worked perfectly that was in the sample. My favorite thing about it is it filled in my pores and gave me a super smooth surface. I have tried them all as far as foundations. From the super high end to lower priced ones. This is however my first time trying natural makeup which I'm so happy there is such a good quality one as I'm more health conscious these days. I just can't get over this glow I have and I look so much younger! It has a bit of a shine on my forehead but I'm sure a bit of powder will take care of that. I'm so thrilled to know my bottle is on its way so I can look like this every day. I've been sick lately and I have not felt beautiful in a while. My skin has been affected quite a bit. THANK YOU Burt's Bees for making a healthy product that makes us feel beautiful.
