I bought this to be able to use indoors as an indoor sim more than taking to range. It works well at the range, but in my garage, I am getting very short distances. I have an impact screen that is 10 feet from hitting surface and have 8 feet from R10 to the screen. I have tried all types of things to correct. Please help as I feel I need to return this if this is the only solution. I will gladly update this review if able to get a solution to this issue as the device would be perfect otherwise. I read on the garmin forum that this seems to be an extremely common issue. Please help

I've had this for a couple of months and have used it a handful of times. First few times I was convinced this thing was off. After comparing with range finder I have found that it is pretty accurate and range balls are trash! Well worth the cost. Gives me insight to my swing characteristics that I didn't know I needed!

I haven't had any issues with getting the monitor set up and aligned with the targets. I've compared it with other monitors at the same time for club speed and distance and have come very close to the estimated/measured indexes. I am looking forward to trying it out this winter in my makeshift garage set up to keep my swings looking good before next season.

My wife gave the Garmin to me as a Christmas present and so far, I love it. I have not played any courses yet. However, the practice sessions have been great. I use an Apple AV cable to HDMI connected to a 27-inch computer monitor. In the near future I plan on mounting a 50-inch tv in my garage which i am sure will enhance the experience. Great product overall!

This is my second launch monitor. The data produced feels more consistently accurate than my previous monitor. I like the options of data to have available following each shot. Easy to review data. I used the monitor for 13+ hours before needing to recharge the battery. No more batteries to buy! Love that!

Really happy with my Garmin R10. It has been easy to use as long as you follow the simple directions. Not a knock to Garmin but I wish someone would work on making it so you can get somewhat accurate numbers with Almost Golf Balls. There are times when I could be using it more but due to the noise with hitting real balls I cant. All in all very happy with my purchase.

I have been using for about a year now. Fairly impressed with every aspect of it with the exception of the known interference issues. When i use it in my garage simulator i frequently get interference responses from the R10. Some days it lets me just play through and i am not affected but other days it can be a struggle, and I will have to re-hit multiple balls extra (5-10 per 18 holes) to get my shot recorded. I have turned on/off everything i can think of in my garage that may interfere and absolutely cannot figure it out. I have tried to turn off everything electronic including my projector and still had problems so i am at a loss. I have also tried rebooting on bad days, which sometimes it gets marginally better...overall for the price and the portability it is still great value.

The device is great. Setup was easy but a bit finicky to pick up RCT balls at first. The Garmin Golf App is atrocious however. Yardages are significantly shorter than E6 and Awesome Golf (which are pretty dead on with yardages). Also the app should have an iPad version to help with simulation.

I just got the R-10 as a gift from my wife. I purchased the complete hitting bay and from there, it's off to the golf course in my garage. So far so good. I have only used it a few times but I think it's pretty accurate regarding distance and L/R fade/draw info. I did find that it had some trouble with shorter chip/pitch shots but the more I used it the better it responded. Not sure if it was me or the R-10.

I was a little worried about getting this because it is a few years old and thought it might not have the best technology. But I have been very impressed with the accuracy and consistency of this product. I would definitely recommend of you are on the fence. The app is not the greatest but there are several other simulation software programs available to use
