I received this Lego set as an early Christmas gift, this year, from my fiancé. I am a huge Lego fan, and a proud Hufflepuff. The building experience was absolutely amazing(being used with the Star Wars Lego franchise) and really enjoyed to built this magical castle. Loved all the Easter eggs, and all the nooks and crannies you can find in this wonderful set. A bit disappointed that they were no prints on the blocks and all just stickers, but judging this set was released in 2018, made me realise why Lego did that(the stickers were absolutely stunning). I did not mind the micro figures at all, as they are helping creating the bigger picture. It really felt magical to build it.

This product was bought for me for Christmas. Each bag opened contained many pieces that added the most smallest of details found throughout the story of Harry Potter. The set is quite large so be sure to have somewhere to put it. There were a two small pieces missing from one bag but I was able to find them within our Lego collection. This set took over 35 hours to complete and has not disappointed.

This lego set rocks. I am a big Harry Potter fan and I love everything about the set. Getting rid of the only negative is really the price is quite high, but this is expected with Lego being a high price hobby, but the amount of pieces and size of the overall set make up for this in my opinion. The play features are non existent, but that is expected. You are buying this set to display something amazing and this set more than delivers. There are so many little references and little key aspects that I just love. The little rocks that it sits on, the bridges that intertwine everything, the rotating staircases and you get exclusive minifgures with the houses founders and a ton of microfigures to enhance the scenes even more. This set rules and is proudly displayed in my collection in it's on thrown. Even if you are not the biggest Harry Potter fan, it still is a pretty dope castle. I can not recommend this set enough, and I ensure you that you will like it.

I recieved this as a gift for christmas after wanting for ages and it doesn't disappoint. I found it a wonderfully detailed set, especially things like the 'stained glass windows', taking bits from many of the different films. It was a fun experience to build and well worth it for any Harry Potter fan.

I go back and forth with this set. Pro's: This is a beautiful set to add to your Harry Potter collection. This set does fit all the rooms you would recognize from the books/movies. Con: for me because everything is so extra miniature it was almost boring, a red square represented a tiny book. Not as excited or enjoyable as I hoped. Because everything and everyone is so extra small it's in a weird way less detail. This set is massive though so you have to make everything so small to fit all the details together. The only super mini figures I can figure out in Voldemort, Lupen, and Ms. Umbridge. Overall I like the finished product and excited to add the castle to my Harry Potter collection

This set is my favorite to date. As a huge Potter fan, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and it did not disapoint. Not only is the sheer size incredible, but the detail keeps you excited to continue. The journey from the boats and great hall to Umbridge's office and the room of requirement is exciting for every lego fan. This is a Must Have!

Overall - I really want to be in love with this, but I'm not. I don't think it was worth the price I paid. I had one bag missing, so I had to get a replacement bag (waited 2 weeks for this). The two pieces of the castle don't "stay" together well. The micro pieces are just too micro to enjoy playing with. The classrooms on the bottom are positioned in such a way that it's awkward to try to manipulate the microfigures in them. I buy these expensive sets to have the satisfaction of building them. BUT, I also build them to play with my kids. What's the point of legos if you don't play with them? Sadly, this set can't really be played with. If you're a Harry Potter fan, get this. It's epic. If you want something to actually play with, skip on this one.
