Everything about this set is outstanding! The price is exactly correct! Building this set and taking my time on it never felt like I just wanted to get it done I enjoyed every moment nothing felt repetitive or systematic it all felt pretty free flowing and fun! The only issue I had was the books were kinda hard to follow because there are no highlights and you have to sometimes play where's waldo especially on the rocky base layers but that kinda made it more fun honestly!

Received this yesterday. Purchased it for myself. I'm taking my time compared to previous builds I've done which were finished the same day. I'm currently done steps 1-5 & I am loving it. My biggest build yet. The only thing I'd say I dislike so far is in step 1, required to build a mini fig & some little boats with no indication as of yet too where they will go. Just don't like things in my way, lol. Great build otherwise.

This was the first Lego set I have ever bought for myself but after seeing the photos of the details and effort that had gone into this Lego set and as a huge Harry Potter fan, I just had to buy it. With the help of my boys who are good at building Lego I soon learnt just how easy it was to build and in just over 1 day, my Hogwarts Lego Castle was built and on display. It is a truly stunning piece. Well done Lego.

Girlfriend and I are huge Harry Potter fans so we bought this set to build together for Valentine's Day. The value is absolutely incredible, for the price you get so many different elements in tons of colors. The build experience was great, it can easily be split between two people. The level of detail was impeccable, kudos to the designers! The only thing that could've made it better is if it was Minifig scale, as it is rather tricky to move the Microfigures around the castle, although at this price point it probably isn't meant to be a “play” set anyways. Because of this I only gave two studs for play experience, but if you're an AFOL or HP nerd looking for a beautiful display piece, don't let that deter you in the slightest. I'd add some pictures, but I still have to figure out a place to display it. If you're on the fence about this set, buy it and buy it fast, you won't regret it. Great job LEGO!

Whilst the price is on the upper-end, you definitely won't be disappointed. My wife and I built this together, of the course of a couple of months - we loved every minute of it. It's a magical feeling when you recognise which sections of Hogwarts you're building, even more so when it's all together. We made a shelf for it above the stairs and installed lights - VERY happy with the result.

Built with my 8 year old granddaughter over the week and was great to see her on a difficult set.Working as a team made the building experience better than building alone especially as she knows the story better than me.Once built it looks absolutely amazing especially the stained glass effect in the windows plus the rock work that it all sits on.Would recommend this set to all as you will love building and showing it off As for the price I think it's worth every penny for 6000 plus pieces Now can we have a Hogwarts Train and Station UCS please my granddaughter as asked

[Employee of lego-global] It may be so big that you really need to think about where it's going to live when it's built, but everything about the set it exactly what you want - a wonderful building to look at from the front, and packed with tonnes of tiny fun details on the inside. This is easily my favourite Harry Potter set.

I absolutely LOVE this set. I first watched all the movies a few months ago then read the books. When I found out Lego was making Hogwarts, I couldn't help myself. I had to buy it! I am so amazed at this set. The attention to detail is spectacular! I previously built the Death Star and Ghostbusters Firehouse but the Hogwarts Castle was by far my favorite to build. I have nothing negative to say about this set. If you can, buy it! I promise you won't regret it!

I was so excited when I nabbed one of these during the next restock and the build itself did not disappoint. I LOVED this build so much I completed it in 4 days! The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow, and the final product is fantastic! There was so much attention to detail put into this build.

I'll start with the good, which is that it was the most fun set I've ever built. It also is an amazing display piece, and I have it up on my dresser as the main attraction to my room. I had an amazing time building the set and it is also kind of fun to just look at it and mess around. However, the micro figures suck. When I got this set, I wanted to play with it and have fun with it. I only have 3 of the micro figures left and it's easy to see why, they're slightly bigger than my finger nail, and they are lost easily. Plus you can't tell who each one is. I thing I found Harry Potter, but I'm not too sure.
