I used this brand in my teens because it was cheap. As I got older I tried the other more expensive brands and was an devout Loreal fan. On a whim, I purchased Colorsilk again. It smells great, covers my grays, leaves my hair super soft, doesn't irritate my scalp, and the color lasts! I will continue using this brand.

Dark brown is basically black. This is so inexpensive yet one of the best out there!! Leaves my hair feeling healthy, shiny, even thicker! My natural hair has color variations in it and when I use this it seems to match them. So I don’t just end up with one solid color, it looks more natural. I’d recommend.

It's super easy to apply and doesn't have a strong scent like many other dyes! This also doesn't stain your skin!! I usually end up with a dyed ear or neck but not with this product! My hair feels and looks healthy! The washed out color is my before pic and the darker is the after!

This is my go to hair color system. I can definitely depend on the color pay off. It's consistent everytime. I just wish the color bottle would come with more product. I have to buy three to four systems to cover all my hair. I have a lot of hair. Besides that I always buy this hair dye because I can't go wrong!

Revlon has changed their formula from years ago. The hair color product had a pleasant scent rather than having to go to another room to breathe from the fumes. I recently tried Revlon hair color and I have to say that I was really impressed with this product. Another great thing about Revlon hair color is that it didn't damage my hair and make it feel brittle. My hair actually felt really soft and healthy after using this color. It’s affordable too.
