Revlon ColorSilk Beautiful Color™ hair dye new formula. I have always dyed my hair with shades 60, but this time I decided to dye it with 04 so that the gray hair would not be visible on my light hair. The hair color turned out not as light as on the box, and the dyed hair remained darker than my light brown hair. But I like the result, it turned out great. I will dye my hair again in 2-3 months. I always dye my hair myself at home and it turns out great, the dye does not flow and lies well. I had waist-length hair, now I cut it a little, but I also dyed the long ones myself.

I've been doing my hair for years. Normally I'm a redhead thanks to Revlon Colorsilk literallyevery red they have on the market. I decided to make a change at 41. This color is so beautiful with rich red and brown tones. Please note my hair was crimson red before as in the last picture so the red tone may be due to that. I will say this I will never use another box hair color but Revlon. It smells great, makes my hair soft and well conditioned. The color last much longer than the Ion color from Sally's.

Ive been using this product since i was a teen. Its my absolute go-to! Its super affordable and gets the job done right. From my experience, they have alway come out true to color. My hair doesnt feel damaged or crusty after using this, its never fried my hair even with all the times ive bleach it and went back to black. Super easy to apply. Highly recommend!

I love this product. I swear by it. I don't use any other hair dyes. If you want enough product within one box dye for waist length hair this is for you. No fading issues or brassiness even with hard water. I love it. And you CANNOT beat the price! I will continue

This product it’s my favorite, I use it every 3 month, doesn’t smells a lot, your hair it’s going to look shiny and strong, doesn’t have ammoniac so that’s great! It’s a 10/10 for me I really recommend it if it’s going to be your first time painting you hair

I used to use a different brand, which became more difficult to find in my local pharmacy so after reading mostly positive reviews, I decided to try Revlon ColorSilk. I've used it several times, light brown, medium brown and last night- light ash brown. It's mostly to add some depth to my already brunette/light brown hair and cover some grays. I wash my hair every day (not good, I know), so the color does gradually fade in most likely less time than for most people, but I can still get away with coloring once a month or so. The color is easy to mix (pour color into application bottle), there's NO smell at all (during or after coloring), it doesn't seem to leave color behind in the shower, it lasts as long as (if not longer than) other similar brands and is ridiculously inexpensive, which is why I was hesitant at first. Also, unlike with other colors I've used where sometimes the color ends up a few shades darker than what was intended, I've never had the color end up darker than what I wanted. Last night I even left the color on a little longer for the stubborn grays but the color came out beautiful- not like the muddy dark brown or black that can sometimes happen if you leave it on too long. Biggest plus? the conditioner is beyond awesome!!!!! Just a tiny bit will do (I have shoulder length hair) so I save the packet so I can get a couple of uses out of it. If they sold the conditioner separately, I'd definitely buy it!!! (Please, Revlon!) It leaves hair super soft without being greasy or leaving the hair feeling coated. While I can't say I've used the product for 20+ years like some others, I can say it's been a home run every time I've used it.

I've tried a lot of at home color kits, but Color Silk has to be the best one I've ever used. The color is very rich and holds to the hair as good as any salon color. Plus the conditioner leaves it silky smooth. And you can't beat the price. It's a win-win!

I can't speak on how long it takes to fade or grey coverage but it gave an old wig a new life. The product is easy to use . I am interested in trying bout different colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m giving this 5 stars because I’m certain it’s fine for box hair color but this color wouldn’t work for me. i have medium brown hair and they sent me light brown. i just don’t want to use it and mess my hair up somehow. i will pass this along to a friend to try and I’ll update the reviews

Over the years I’ve used many many different hair colors and I’ve had my hair colored by a stylist but Revlon color silk seems to work the best for my hair and it’s super inexpensive and easy to do at home and I really like the color much better than other colors I’ve tried and even the color that the stylist applied
