I bought about a month ago. I upgraded from a S24 ultra to this S26 ultra. I gave it a 4/5 because there aren't huge differences wven compared to the s24 ultra, especially for the money. I haven't really noticed any noticeable changes other than the screen privacy and the long lasting battery. Those are definitely great features! The camera doesn't seem to be any different. I find it still takes blurry pictures. The S22 ultra still beats both for me. Maybe it's a setting I havent quite figure out, but I still find it takes blurry photos even on the simplest of conditions. The performance has been great. Super smooth and fast. Doesn't seem to be many, if any glitches. I still love the squared edges on the screen compared to the s22 ultra. That has definitely been an improvement over the years and hopefully won't change in the future.

The screen looks amazing — everything is super bright and smooth whether I’m watching videos, scrolling, or playing games. It just feels really premium. The camera is probably my favorite part. Photos come out really sharp and the zoom is kind of crazy in a good way. I’ve been taking way more pictures lately because they actually look great without needing to edit them. Transfer of my data went smoothly and I am now learning new tricks with my camera. Love it, awesome zoom and smooth videos. I am concerned a little about the temperature it runs at though. I only had the camera running, no other apps, but it felt super hot after about 20 minutes. Is that normal?

The design feels premium, performance is fast and smooth, and the camera quality is impressive, especially in good lighting. Battery life is decent and easily gets through a full day. That said, it’s not perfect. It feels like it could still be better in areas like optimisation and consistency, especially with camera processing and battery efficiency at times. Overall, it's a super refined and polished flagship phone. It's got a massive 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen that sets the benchmark for brightness and colour. What's really cool this year is the Privacy Display feature, which narrows the viewing angles so only you can see the screen clearly when you're using it in public. Though, it does mean there's a slight trade-off in terms of display sharpness at extreme angles. In terms of design, it's got more rounded corners so it's a bit more comfortable in the hand than last year's model. The camera setup is still top-of-the-line, and there's a built-in S Pen if you're into taking notes or getting creative. On the performance front, it's running a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, so it's as fast as you'd expect from a modern Android flagship. So in short, it's a powerful, big-screen phone that refines what Samsung already does well. It's definitely not a radical reinvention, but if you're looking for a premium Android phone in 2026, the S26 Ultra is one of the best options out there.

Overall it's a great package but feels slightly lacking in a some small areas when you really scrutinise the whole experience.
