I've been using pressed powder forever and never felt that it really helped my makeup stay on. One day of this powder and I'm a changed woman! It was light and airy and I didn't feel weighed down. The fact that it was translucent helped a ton because I'm so pale.

As far as the settings powder of this product goes, I really like it! We took maternity photos in 100 degree heat and my makeup stayed. I do not appreciate that it doesn't come with an applicator. I'm not super makeup savvy, so I didn't have a different one to use and had to use a brush. This would prevent me from purchasing.

A bit finer than the original and loving the talc-free, flash-back free formula. Not cakey and does not increase the appearance of texture or fine lines. Not as pore filling as I thought but still a nice smoothing formula. Translucent was perfect for my fair/light skin tone.

I've been using the Laura mercier OG translucent powder for well over 10 years, so I was excited to try this. I think I may even like it more than the OG for my undereyes. I have combo skin but undereye area is very dry. Since using this powder my concealer no longer settles in every line. I also find my concealer stays on longer. The rose tinted powder is brightening.

With blur in the description of this powder, I had higher expectations. It went in nice, but settled into fine lines and looked chalky. I wasn't terribly fond of this powder, because it also was very light rather than translucent. Wouldn't buy this product.

This is THE setting powder! I instantly loved how it looked. It went on nicely and was great at keeping me looking fresh for the whole day even when I was outside in the heat. It must have some micro sparkles as it makes your skin look just radiant! 10 out of 10 this is my new setting powder. I did apply it with a brush, which I preferred.

I want to start off by saying that Laura Mercier has always been my favorite translucent setting powder. When I heard that I was receiving a talc free translucent powder I was so excited. I saw the documentary on Netflix and heard how bad it was for you. So needless to say I was so so so excited. And I have to say it's better than the original!
