Easy, easy, easy. Did I mention that it's easy? Have had an old school White Mountain ice cream maker (layer ice and salt) for 20+ years, and have made ice cream a handful of times. I've made ice cream twice in the last 3 weeks with this. If you're even thinking about it, get one, you won't be disappointed.

I does a wonderful job and have perfect ice cream in around 20 minutes. I had another brand (Hamilton Beach I think) and it was terrible. It would only partially freeze the ice cream and would have to put the liquid in the freezer to finish. Of course it was cheaper but the old saying is right. You get what you pay for.

I'm really loving this ice cream maker! We eat lactose and sugar free so its really necessary for my family. Its so fast and easy to clean! It really freezes perfectly. Ive had no problems whatsoever. I keep the freezer bowl in the freezer all the time.

I received this machine as a gift and have used it twice. The first time I misread the directions and poured the cream mix in before starting the machine. BIG MISTAKE! I was able to save the batch and it did turn out well. The second batch was made without a hitch. It is easier and faster to use than the traditional electric freezers, but does not have the capability to make a large quantity at one time. That is not a problem for me. It still costs less for ingredients than buying a pint of dairy free frozen dessert at the store and makes about twice as much in one batch. I do wish the manual would include recipes for non-dairy "ice creams" since I am dairy free. I am looking forward to trying a variety of flavors.

I started to make ice cream many years ago using a hand crank ice cream maker. In the late 70s I upgraded to one with an electric motor. Both made good churned ice cream. When it became hard to crank or when the motor stopped, your ice cream was ready to set in the freezer to finish curing. With the Cuisinart Frozen Yogurt - Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker there is no way of knowing when the ice cream is done. After a number of tries, I could still not get the churned consistency of the old hand crank or motor ice cream makers.

I have found a new love... Cuisinart's Frozen Ice Cream Maker. This machine is amazing. Since my purchase, I have made ice cream nearly every night. Being plant-based, I want my ice cream to be made with pure and clean ingredients. This machine allows me to do that.

This is fantastic! Being that ice cream is my favorite desert, this little machine has not disappointed. Using it I can adjust recipe to adjust the sugar or fat content of the ice cream to meet the needs of my guests! I have already recommended it to 2 friends who have now purchased it.

Totally pleased with this purchase. So far I have made lemon sorbet, chocolate and vanilla ice cream and smores ice cream is currently in the works. The machine and process are very easy. I have modified the recipes a bit to reduce the amount of flavoring. For example, the chocolate is way too chocolaty and i love chocolate. This has been and will continue to be used at least once a week. Keeping the freezer bowl in the freezer and ready to go makes prep easier. If you want fresh, homemade ice cream, dont hesitate to purchase. Keep in mind this does not make a huge amount at a time but is big enough for my husband and i to eat a batch for 3 or 4 days.

The machine works great. We've been focused on peppermint ice cream, which isn't available locally. It's hypnotic to watch, even if it's hard to wait 20 minutes. I'm not sure how to clean it afterwards. If you wash it while it's still cold, hard to dry it out. If you wait for it to thaw, it takes longer to refreeze. It is awesome as a way to customize your ingredients. For example, my celiac son can use gluten-free Oreos to make gluten-free "cookies and cream" ice cream. It was delicious. Got the ice cream maker for a gift after raving about the wonderful ice cream our son in law makes with his machine. We’ve enjoyed making our favorite flavors and don’t feel guilty eating them. There’re healthier then the grocery store version as they don’t have all those unhealthy ingredients in them. We make ours with half and half or home made yogurt, vanilla and a bit of honey to sweeten. We sometimes also add fresh fruit. Very easy to use.
