I bought this trusting the Stanley name. Took it home plugged it in was disappointed that the nails don't go all the way in. I was using soft wood. I looked the next day and found out I paid 5.00 more then what was on the website. I'll take it back and try the WEN Nailer same price and it has 2,000 nails.

Worst staple gun possible. One might go in and then you waste 6 more and on and on. I thought it was the way I was holding it so I ask my husband to try it. Some of his went halfway in and we pounded them with a hammer. This was not a cheap stapler. Don’t buy it. I have other Stanley hand staplers that work fine but not this one.

Was a gift for my dad who is 74 yrs old and starting to realize he's not as young as he use to be. He has been wanting an electric staple gun for awhile and when it was time to put up Christmas lights, my mom and I knew he really needed one this year. He loves it!! No hand cramps and works really fast. Also uses staples that he already had, so he didn't have to go buy different ones.

Used lightly and occasionally over about 5 year period. less than one box of staples put through it. Crapped out, just like all other reviews, not worth fixing even if simple part was available (it is not available btw). Stanley's QC and engineering must be busy with the other premium brands they have acquired and developed. Sinking their own flagship.

I have used electric staplers for years. Bought the Stanley TRE550Z a few months ago but just using. First thing it jams and I can't get the load rod to unjam. I spent some time, I was able to shake some of the staples free but it is still jamed. Directions are fair but limited. I would never buy this device again. It has turned out to be more of a problem than a help. I use to like Stanley tools. If I had seen the low rating I would have never bought it. Regrets only.

I'm not sure why everyone else was having problems with this staple gun. I have put almost 1,500 staples through it and there was maybe only 4 that didn't go all the way in the 2x4, and that's on the low setting! Made the insulation job so much easier

I used this 1 time and it was great. Now I am using for a 2nd time & it stopped working just like the other 52 reviewers. The warranty discutirá to send it back. After shopping it might be cheaper to just buy another. I went by brand name tp purchase rather than researching reviews first. BIG MISTAKE. Now I’m in a middle of a project & can’t continue. Why STANLEY would you keep a product on the market that clearly is not a good one? 1STAR? Yikes!

Instructions for recovering a boat seat said to use an electric stapler because a manual one would not drive the staples in well enough. We tried this stapler on the project and though it seemed to work well while testing on wood, it did not drive the staples into the plastic seat as well as a manual stapler.

does not even get 25% in wood. must use hammer to complete. probably good for balsa wood. i bought this product from name only (stanley), should have read reviews 1st.

I bought this Electric Stapler less than 2 months ago and it just quit working, like many others reviewers have experienced. I usually check product reviews before buying anything....my bad this time.
