I adore this nail polish! I have always liked Sally Hansen, but their Complete Salon Manicure colors are the BEST! Firstly, the brush is revolutionary...and soooo easy to use and stay "in the lines" for us non-professionals. :) It does not chip as easily as some other brands and you HAVE to love some of the jazzy names they came up with...makes me smile! If I had one complaint is that while there are so many great colors here online, in every store I've been in that carries Sally, they lack as large of a selection. I am soooo glad I came online to look for more colors...which is a testiment to how much I adore this polish! Thanks Sally!

I love the formula and the coverage of that brush. I do use a top coat even thogh I don't have to. I only chage my polish b/c of all the color polishes that I have. Gotta l❤ve variety. I use this polish exclusively. This is my testimony and I'm sticking to it..

I have several Sally Hansen nail products including 15 bottles of Complete Salon Manicure (CSM) nail enamel. The instructions state that the product doesn't need base or top coat to complete this manicure however, I do use base and top coat as a general practice. My base coat of choice at the moment is Nail Tek II base coat. I use 2 to 3 coats of CSM in "Calypso Blue" (discontinued) The brushes of CSM are very wide. Since I have average to small nail beds the brush is just a bit too wide for my liking however I managed reasonably well. It only takes 2 to 3 swipes of the brush to get good coverage. In the case of my smallest nails I've had to tip the brush on its edge, scrape as much polish away from three sides of the brush and carefully pain the nail trying to avoid the cuticle and sides, using a orange stick to scrape any wet polish off if it does get on the skin. The polish is opaque in 3 coats and spreads beautifully. The formula is very good, not too thick or thin and the finish of Calypso Blue is very pretty, ocean teal with a lighter teal shimmer with flashes of green at just the right angles. I use INM Out the Door or Seshe Vite for my top coat. I "cap" the free edge of my nails with each layer of base coat, nail enamel and top coat to ensure chip resistance. Capping is wrapping the edge and a small portion of the bottom of the nail with polish/base/top coat to prevent shrinkage and make the manicure resistant to wear and chipping. Since I change my nail color every 3 or 4 days, I do notice that my CSM manicures are chip free with little wear to my nail tips with regular, every day use (washing hands, doing dishes, typing…) I do like this product a lot and I own several nail polish brands. CSM has the same staying power as my other brands (China Glaze, Color Club, Zoya, Orly, L'oriel…) My favorite CSM include: Snow Glob, Debu-Tint, Shell We Dance, Pink a Card, Wine Not, Mermaid Tale & Calypso Blue which this review is based.

I received the shade Barracuda complimentary from Influenster for testing. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. This polish went on very streaky and I had to apply three coats - even after three coats I still did not have even coverage. I did like the unique shape of the flat brush. This polish chipped on my index finger the day after I applied it. Due to streakiness and chipping, I would not recommend this polish.

I bought this because I've always been so satisfied with Sally's products. I'm never going back to another polish. This goes on thick and smooth, leaving very little imperfections. It lasts for days without chipping, even in the retail world. It really does look like a salon manicure. I recommend it to all the girls at work!

I got this product not because is a full salon option but because the color was very nice (Right said red) I did a manicure and pedicure to my wife and it was awesome that I have to do a pedicure for me(see pic) on it and WOW its really nice, the brush is very easy to use and makes the application very simple, now if you really want to achieve the Salon Shine Effect, you need one of the Sally Hansen diamond top coats.

I have been using Sally Hansen products for years but have to express my disappointment when two of my recent purchases have had the brush disintegrate as I did my nails. The bristles just fell out in clumps leaving me with polish all over my hands, hairs embedded in the polish on my nails. The first time I assumed it was just my bad luck but two in a row sounds like a flaw to me!

Okay - I typically dread painting my nails because it takes forever for them to dry! Not only does this nail polish dry (what seems like "instantly"!) but it stays on for DAYS! I have had so many people ask me where I got my nails done from, and they are shocked when they hear I did them myself. I went to the store and bought 3 more colors because I just can't get enough of them. On the 5th day, they started chipping - I was so so impressed. Thank you, Sally Hansen, for making the best nail polish there is! Absolutely LOVE it!

You gals that rated this polish with a one are not applying it right. If its chipping after the first day then I'd say your putting it on too thick. I apply 2-3 very thin coats. After its good & dry I apply a thin coat of the Diamond Shine Mega Extended top coat. I get at least 10-12 days of good wear. Sometimes I need to touch up the wear on the ends but I've never had it chip. I tell everybody about this product. I get asked all the time how I do my nails.

I bought "stellar style" colour and love it-i have been looking for thisshade of pale pink for a while-however the brush is horrible, the hairs are not even, some are sticking out, and it makes the nail polish streaky. 2 coats did do the job but the application was not easy. Also, the nail polish thickens AS it's being applied! This, again, makes application difficult.
