I am really amazed on how the Root Cover Up by L'Oreal can do not only just one job but two! The color was a prefect match for my dark brown hair. The Root Cover Up conceals my grey hair roots amazingly well. At first I did not like how the product left my hair feeling some what dry but I found out if your hair is oily on day three (on a washing hair strike lol) then this product works like a dry shampoo as well! The only problem now is I need to purchase two bottles one for home and one for my purse in case I forget to apply when in a rush. I received the Root Cover Up by L'Oreal for free and my opinions are my own.

I tried l'oréal's Root cover up in black and thought it worked great! I was skeptical at first because I thought it would just be a powder and wondered "how would it stay?". Well it is kind of powdery ( I think) but it stays, it works like they claim, it covers and looks pretty natural, and it lasts until your next shampoo. Also it does not flake onto your clothes either! You do have to be careful though and not spray it on one spot for too long or it will build up as you would expect, but once you get the technique down applying it is fast and easy. This solution to new roots is great when you just haven't had a chance to re-color in time but I would not say it is sonething you want to touch up your roots with for a long time as it is much easier(obviously) to just have your roots done, but for those few days in-bewteen before you re-color it is great to help keep your look intact! Also on that note I let my friend who has blond hair spray it on her roots to get that dark root look and she loved it! She said it was an easy way to get the look without actually dying your hair( and also getting rid of the look quickly once you get tired of it).I received this product as a sample.

I have been fighting with my grey year for years now. Although I only have a couple strands it was enough to make me conscious of it, I didn't want to dye my hair but I needed a resolution. This product is great, I can use it when ever i feel like I need to cover those pesky greys and it does the job! I did get the opportunity to try this product for free but all my opinion are my own and I will buy this again!

I was pretty apprehensive trying out the red as I fall under a more ginger or copper hair shade. It blended quite well and provides realistic coverage (not to dull or powdering looking). This will work well for me between appointments (hopefully they expand on the line to include a copper version). I was sampled this product by Influenster to try out but all opinions are my own.

I received this free to try from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I've used it one time, and I find it's just OK. It went on easily, but sprayed all over my forehead. It was a little difficult to remove, similar to brown spray paint. After scrubbing quite a bit, it did come off. I found it to be much darker than the colour on the bottle. If you need the colour on this bottle, buy a shade lighter. After spraying it on and letting it dry, it became quite stiff. I couldn't comb where it was sprayed. It blended well though and even in bright sunlight, looked fine. I slept on it one night, and it was just as still the second day. The dark colour does come out on your finger, even after dry. It's supposed to come out with shampoo but after 1 washing, it was still on my hair and coming out on my fingers as I styled my wet hair. All in all and OK product. I will use the rest of my free bottle, but I won't purchase another one. It's no more convenient than the regular root touch up that I usually use.

I like this product a lot because it quickly covers up my grey hairs while waiting for my appointment with my hair dresser. It takes 30 seconds to cover the spots that make me uncomfortable leaving the house without my hair done! I tested this product for free but these are my true opinions.

I used this product first thing in the morning before going to work as I had to cover up my grays and I wanted to see if the product actually did dry within minutes like it stated it did. I sprayed it onto my roots and at first I got it onto my face and skin but after a few attempts was able to get it to where it was supposed to be applied. The colour was dark for a light to medium brown I found but blended in with my hair colour once applied. After application I found it made my hair feel very hard and straw like and I could run my comb through it. Not only that the colour transferred onto my comb and my hands as I was trying to style it for the day. I didn't like that if you touched your hair at all throughout the day it also transferred onto your hands too. Not a good thing if your going out for a night on the town or if it is raining out as this will run right down your face. Like I said great concept but poor quality. It's just a quick fix if you like your hair feeling stiff and yucky and you don't touch your hair or style it. I received this product for free for testing purposes and all of these opinions are my own.

I love using this to cover up the bit of grey at my roots and also the strands of grey hair on my hairline that show when I put my hair up. This is much more convenient than buying a whole box of permanent dye just to dye a little bit of grey hair! The product covers very well. It's a bit hard to aim to the right area so some help from another person is a good idea. But it definitely works! Cons: it smells a bit...but that's expected from hair color.. I got a sample to review but I'll definitely keep buying this.

I just got this to try from influenster and its pretty great! Covers up all my greys and roots, and doesn't leave a residue in my hair. Also, washes out with one shampoo, so its awesome because i don't have to color my hair to get the result I want. The spray is very concentrated to where you want to put the product as well, so its super simple to use. LOVE!
