Seems pretty well made. Feels solid. Control knob is nice. Works well for the basic microwave tasks of reheating and defrosting. Haven't used it for anything more complicated than that. Light inside is indeed a little dim which is more a function of the grey interior color and door shielding than the light itself. Doesn't really bother me since I don't usually spend a lot of time staring at my food in the microwave to begin with.

I did a lot of research for a new microwave. This model consistently came up in the top of the list for best value and best overall. I bought this to replace an older Panasonic model with a dial. Here's my conclusion with this model. The dial isn't used for cook time adjustment. In my opinion, that's a waste. I can only make 30 second adjustments in cook time. Not ideal. Overall, if you want a microwave that can do complex cooking, then get this model. If you want a normal microwave to use occasionally melt butter for 7 seconds and other random things, then this isn't the model for you. Which is where I fall.
