Ajustable

This strap is very comfortable. It enhances game play. I've always been bothered by the elastic straps, which are way too tight. The new Q-3 straps are not as bad as the quest 2's straps. The elite strap brings it to another level. Fingers crossed.

Better than oculus's last elite strap.

This is a great addition to the quest 3. Being able to play longer without worrying about battery life makes the experience even more exciting. I did have some issues figuring out how to charge the battery at first. It would not charge until I figured out that the battery has to be plugged into the quest 3 to start charging.

Quest 3 must connected to battery in order to char

meta.com

Very comfortable and adds a decent amount of play time, however when charging the extended battery it causes the q3 light on the side of the headset to get stuck on even after the charger is unplugged from the wall. The only way to get the light to shut off is to disconnect the extended battery from the headset. Not a big deal but a little odd. Same story with the q2.

Very comfortable

I like this style of strap better and find the halo style SUPREMELY uncomfortable. I have an elite strap for my quest 2 and it has been great since release so I figured I would get similar for my quest 3. The only major issue is the pricing. its just soo high. I like the slightly updated design vs the one on the quest 2 as well. Hope to get a decent facial interface soon as the stock one is not comfortable.

Decent strap

I started using this strap and it took me a while to realize that it didn't work. The reason was probably the fact that I had the cable of the battery plugged into the Soundcore headphones dongle. Once I removed the dongle and connected my headphones using Bluetooth instead, the battery started working. I haven't had any issues with the batter since then. It makes a huge difference! While before it started working I would often run out of batter during play sessions, now I never have this issue. It provides enough extra battery that it had me covered through all my game sessions so far. This is mostly because I almost never play a VR game for more than 4 hours. It's hard since there is some discomfort involved with playing VR games.
Overall, I would recommend this device, but be careful because I have heard of other people having issues with it not working. I think they even stopped selling it for a while.

Good when it works

The Quest 3's original strap is super uncomfortable. The Quest 3's battery only last an hour to 1.25hrs. This accessory strap is a must have as it's much more comfortable and extends the battery life to 2 hours. It should have come with the Quest 3 by default especially for the large price the Quest 3 costs. This accessory and battery strap costs too much as well. I still run a 3rd battery in my pocket and plug it into the unit in addition to this strap+battery that way I can play for more than 2 hours in an evening.

Comfort strap with battery should come with the Q3

Do yourself a favor Google this thing first. They were used on previous Quest 2 but they do not work on the quest 3 not longer than a few days anyways. The bigger power draw might be burning up electronics in it. Then they stop outputting power for more than 3 seconds. they won't charge anything, even a phone for more than a couple seconds, I used a plug-in watt meter to verify they completely shut down and disconnect

All of these do not work do not buy until fixed

This battery head strap does not connect and charge the head set for more than 10 seconds. It's a large problem and Meta customer support acknowledges it on the forums. Meta offers a refurbished replacement of an item that is a few days old. Ridiculous.

Battery doesn't charge headset. Don't buy

Unfortunately battery is not charing at all, even if I leave it for whole night it didn't charged quest 3 at all, and the support of meta is completely unresponsive, the are required screenshots to prove that you're using original charger, but even if you will respons to all questions they will close your ticket

Strap elite - battery doesn't work

Fail. And an expensive fail.

Almost never, ever provides supplemental power. Yet does so at completely random and announces so with a nice DING!! audible alert.

I have resorted to using a Goal Zero Venture 30 power puck to provide enough power to the Q3 headset to actually finish more than 1 round of Walkabout Mini Golf. But not enough for Demeo.

The strap itself is fine, and sturdier than the Q2 elite+battery strap. Ergonomics are good, and the weight distribution makes it a must-have item. But the bloody BATTERY still doesn't work. Just like on my Q2.

The first time I could forgive. But not 2 generations of elite battery straps in a row. Whoever your manufacturing partner is for this very important and PRICEY upgrade item...fire them. This is a non-issue with my integrated QPro variant. AND removes a heat source from the front of the unit by shifting all battery function to the rear of the unit. It just needed a soft top strap.

Disconnects supplemental power a few seconds
